Jones II, July 13 - Aug. 19, Horizon Theatre. 404.584.7450.Horizon Theatre. Author's note: "Sheddin'" is a touching comedy that doesn't go too overboard with the comedy and has just enough quiet moving to have feeling. Writer Thomas Jones portrays the lead character of Walt, the lead singer of a 70s R&B group who is hoping for one more shot at the big time when his son becomes a headlining rapper. Walt has convinced two of his old bandmates Moses (E. Roger Mitchell) and Otis (LaParee Young) that they will be the opening act for his son when the tour comes to Atlanta. But his estranged son Trane (Enoch King) has other plans and introduces his family to his new opening act and his fiancee E'Boa (Francesca McKenzie). Donna Biscoe rounds out this fine cast as Ruthie, Walt's wife.

Thomas W. Jones talks about his new play "Sheddin now playing at the Horizon Theatre.
